LG WEEKLY & CUMULATIVE EMISSIONS

A supply of 99,000,000 LG is available for minting over approximately 232 weeks.  Each week's emission rate is determined according to the above chart.  After an initial exponential growth period, emissions will peak around 900k per week for one year after which the rate will decay over approximately three years.

You will need MetaMask or any Ethereum Web 3.0 wallet provider to send ETH to the auction and to hold your LG tokens.  Make sure you follow the instructions on backing up your wallet and any recovery phrase. 

You will need to use an Ethereum address that can interact with smart contracts.  Get ETH here or send it to your MetaMask wallet.  Do not contribute ETH to the DAO from an address owned by some other party.

To see your LG balance you may need to import the LG token.  Use the "Import tokens" link in the Assets section of your MetaMask wallet and enter the following LG token address in the Token Contract Address field:   0x6a49F399ee55399f9BcF9f6F14d5bA557C862D96

Contributing to the DAO and minting LG is a three-step process.

contribute  -  wait  -  mint

Contributions are pooled during a contribution period and LG token emissions for the corresponding period are split among all contributors in proportion to their respective contributions.

Since LG has no offer price, all contributors must wait to allow the contract to determine proportionality after all contributions for a period have been received.  As soon as the next contribution period starts, LG from any prior period may be minted. 

Contribution periods last one week beginning with the first contribution after the end of the prior contribution period.  There is no requirement that each period begins as soon as the prior period ends.  The contract relies on the community to poke it with a transaction so that it can determine its state from the timestamp of the block in which the poking transaction is mined.

You may contribute to the LG DAO through its miner contract by sending ETH directly to the contract address from a wallet capable of interacting with and receiving arbitrary ERC20 tokens from smart contracts, such as a MetaMask wallet.  This is the same process as sending ETH to any address.

Noting and retaining your source address, send any amount of ETH to the following address:

Make sure you send only ETH to the miner address immediately above.

Do not send anything to the LG token at 0x6a4... or else it will be lost forever.

To mint LG from any prior contribution period you must wait up to but not more than one week for the contribution period to end.  After the period in which you have contributed ends, send ETH again from the same source address to mint your LG.

You must wait for the period in which you contributed to end--up to one week.  If you transfer ETH before the end of the period, your transfer will be added to your contributions for that pariod, no LG will be minted yet, and you will still need to send ETH again to mint.

To mint, send any amount of ETH to the following address:

Sending a small amount of ETH and/or contributing a larger amount again in any future contribution period will always automatically mint and transfer to you your LG from any prior contribution period.  You may send a tiny amount--even as small as 1 wei--to claim a prior period's LG share so that effectively you're only paying for the gas to claim your LG plus some bit of dust.

You may amortize your contributions repeating this process each period as frequently or infrequently as you'd like as a form of cost averaging.  There is no obligation to contribute more than once other than to claim a prior period's LG share which you would have to do anyways, paying the gas for such a minting function.
